the story behind the fortune cookies...

(Link)

at MFM 2005, TC gave us two big things of fortune cookies to give away. Cyberhorn proceeded to give them away and made people rattle off what they were. I will let others tell the rest of the story....(grin)...

dragon being creative had to have some how "read had to be evil"
know YE future was said to all who dared come near
many risked life and limb to aquire the cookie and then they would be told to add to their fourtune
"in bed, wit PIE!"

much laughter and fun was had by all and great sales for the gneech though im sure he hates the KNOW YE FUTURE! fourtune cookies, and tiger cowboy for givin them to him for the dragon to distribute LOL!!!

Nope, no Mac and cheese, however I am making him Wacky Cake, and Curried beef with rice. His request!

Last night Amber, Ron and Dan took all of us out to Sushi Ya for all-you-can-eat sushi! Ah heaven, Dragon ate a lot! 2 Rocky Mountain long rolls, a salmon sushi long roll(can't remember the name they gave it) Mama, which is tempura shrimp in the middle, with crab and of course seaweed and rice with seared tuna on top (this one was shared) along with cooked scallop and unagi (freshwater eel) yummy. Most was cooked, only because I am not allowed to have uncooked sushi right now, and Cyberhorn wanted me to be able to have some of his choices.

Anyway, we had fun, dinner was great and everyone had a nice time. On Friday or Saturday I'm taking Cyberhorn out to see Underworld 2. For those who don't know him well, he is a horror movie buff, old, or new, really good or b grade, he loves em all. And monster movies, Godzilla being at the top of that list. And he's been looking forward to the sequel to Underworld. We watched that last week, so finding out what Marcus becomes should prove interesting, along with whatever happens to Michael and Selene. I know Selene is in this one, but Michael isn't mentioned, but then the previews are kinda action packed versus telling the story.

Anyway the evil plan is to have a nice quiet birthday at home, since we did most of our going out and goofing off last night.

I always have a plan, now whether or not those plans work out, well that is a different story. But I always have a plan! *grin*

We're experimenting with curry from scratch, so wish me luck! Been nice to cheat with trusty old Sunbird, but unfortunately it's not available at any of the stores in town, and I am not driving 40 mile round trip just for one thing.

So far so good, the curry has been made, is now in simmer mode for a few hours, then we'll make some yummy rice to go with it. So far it smells wonderful and the taste tests of the sauce is favorable. If it turns out as good as it smells, I will post the recipe with my changes. Had to do a little substitution and add-ins. Since the recipe was conservative on the curry and we really like curry, so I put a bit more in than it called for. And we threw out the cloves..yuck. And added some tumeric and white pepper.
